Alex Corretja, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Albert Costa and Juan Balcells were today named to Spain's Davis Cup team that will face the United States in the 2000 Davis Cup by NEC semifinal, held July 21-23 in Santander, Spain.
Ferrero, 20, was a semifinalist at the 2000 French Open, where he was defeated in five sets by eventual champion Gustavo Kuerten of Brazil.
Costa, who will turn 25 on June 25, was also a quarterfinalist at the 2000 French Open and has won 11 ATP Tour singles titles.
