Spencer's performance on Friday is something that had to be seen to be believed.
Spencer's influence was felt from the outset, even in those early stages when the Hurricanes were still probing and looking dangerous.

Northampton Saints fly-half Carlos Spencer was given a one week suspension when he appeared before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel this evening.
Spencer was charged with making a dangerous tackle on Gareth Cooper during the EDF Energy Cup match against Newport Gwent Dragons on October 7 after a report from the independent citing officer Alan Mansell.
Spencer, who was yellow-carded following the incident, when he appeared before the RFU panel at the Bristol Filton Holiday Inn Hotel.
