		Carnage is a Marvel Comics supervillain, an adversary of Spider-Man and Venom.
		Carnage is the result of a spawning of a separate extraterrestrial symbiote worn by Venom.
		Carnage was once serial killer Cletus Kasady, and became Carnage after merging with the offspring of the alien symbiote called Venom during a prison breakout.

		The Carnage symbiote has occasionally attached itself to other hosts, including The Silver Surfer and the Ben Reilly version of Spider-Man. At one point the Silver Surfer encapsulated the symbiote in space, during which Kasady retained the Carnage persona by costuming himself in red paint and continuing his killing sprees (albeit as a powerless human).
		Carnage began to fall out of favor with Marvel when Norman Osborn returned (and later vanished completely for years after the 9/11 attacks- likely, Marvel didn't want to use a character who was best known for a murder spree through Manhattan after the attacks).

		Carnage is a fairly easy sculpt; lots of flowing, squiggly patterns and a new head.
		My Carnage has areas where his fl isn't as dark as other places, and places where the fl doesn't completely cover the sculpted raised area it is meant to, but his look just kind of blends together and manages to look just fine, regardless.
		Carnage comes with a truly lame base "trap." Pull on the disembodied Carnage head that's permanently attached by a string, and it slowly crawls back to the trap, where walls that look like Carnage's symbiote snap shut around a central platform.

		The story spanned accross several different comics, including all of the Spiderman titles (of which there were about 300 at the time), as well as venturing into a few other character's titles, given that lots of heroes from the Marvel Universe played a part in it.
		On the whole, I would say I found Maximum Carnage to be above average in terms of enjoyment, but the lack of a 2 Player mode and the rather generic nature of most of the thug enemies really saw to it that the game wasn't as good as being a great game.
		It may not be anywhere near perfect, or anywhere near the level of Streets of Rage 2, the console's best game in the genre, but it is certainly a highly enjoyable way to spend time for fans of Spiderman, retro games and the particular story arc in the character's history.
