 | | Dr. Garrison emphasized that the Provost must be energetic, possess interpersonal and consensus building skills, have the ability to make the hard decisions, and have significant administrative experience (budgets, personnel/human resources, etc.). |
 | | Dr. Garrison noted that her priorities included, but are not limited to, salaries, research, tenure, reallocation of funds/resources, undergraduate education and retention/graduation goals, creating partnership with the community, and linking higher education to economic development. |
 | | Dr. Garrison, Susan McWilliams and Richard Margison noted that long-term goals could be addressed but typically the insurance plans do not have rate information available for the next fiscal year until two or three months before implementation. |
