		Zebulon, NC --- Carolina Mudcats RHP Jose Garcia has been selected as the only Florida Marlins' farmhand to represent the organization at the 2006 Futures Game on July 9th at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA.
		Garcia, 21, made his Double-A debut on June 10th at Five County Stadium against Montgomery, posting six innings allowing just one unearned run in securing a 9-7 victory.
		Garcia is 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA in three starts for Carolina, and 7-3 and a cumulative ERA of 1.88 covering 15 games (14 starts) in 2006 after pitching for the Florida State League's Jupiter Hammerheads until early June.

		I can honestly say that I haven't ever been to a park quite like Five County Stadium.
		I am told by team employees, however, that there are still a few more phases left in the renovation plans.
		Incidentally, this is the only place I've been to where they don't sell "tickets." Instead, they sell you a "fishing license" to come see the Mudcats (which are catfish, I suppose).
