CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Carson City's growth rate would continue to be capped at 3 percent under a proposal to be considered Wednesday by the planning commission.
The Community Development Department is asking the panel to renew the city's growth-management ordinance, which would cap the growth rate at 3 percent by limiting the number of residential building permits that can be issued next year to 660.
Carson City is one of the few places in Nevada to have the ordinance.
