Cartel de Santa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cartel de Santa is a Mexican hip hop band from Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico.
Cartel de Santa is formed by Babo, who is the vocalist or better said in terms of hip hop "The MC" (master of ceremonies), and by Monoplug responsible for the sound and rhythms.
Cartel de Santa leaves it clear that through their verbigrace, they intend to "Eliminar" (Eliminate) who ever gets in their way, and in "Todas mueren por mi" and "Para aquí o para llevar", it is Daddy-B who takes charge of being erected as the champion with crown of the egocentric rhymes.

Latin rap - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Latin rap is not a homogeneous musical style but rather a term that covers all hip hop music recorded by Latinos, as in Chicano rap, Reggaeton, Hip Hop Latino, and Hip Hop en Español.
Other early Puerto Rican rap pioneers from New York City include Rubie Dee and Prince Whipper Whip of the Fantastic Five, DJ Charlie Chase of the Cold Crush Brothers, Master OC and Devastating Tito of the Fearless Four.
Latin Rap (as well as its subgenre of Chicano Rap) has thrived along the West Coast, Southwest and Midwestern states with little promotion due to the large Latino populations of those regions.

One of the networks’ leaders is Robinson Ruiz, who also belongs to BS, a rap trio with a video—a status symbol of sorts in Colombia’s rap scene, barely a decade old.
Pacheco told the story of the Colombia Rap Cartel, a “trade group” that he founded with members of five other groups around the country three years ago to help up-and-coming rappers get instruments, studio time, and so on.
He sees rap as part of globalisation, tracing it to cable TV’s arrival in Colombia over the last decade, explaining that “even the poorest slums here have television.” He wonders if rap isn’t just a passing fad and says leaders are lacking in the Colombian hip-hop community.

That's because so little talent is required to become a rapper that for a few years the biggest selling rap song of all time was the "Super Bowl Shuffle" by the Chicago Bears NFL team.
As the first great white rapper, Eminem has the opportunity to break out of the rap ghetto and reach those sunlit uplands where he can stay a star long after he dissipates his talent.

The replayed Barry White groove in "County Bluz" isn't all that great, but "Pops Was a Rolla" is a credible cover (or rather a rap version) of "Papa Was a Rolling Stone." Unfortunately, the much more famous version by Was (Not Was) and rapper G Love E predates this one by a year.
The Delicious Vinyl sigee's verses rank among the most meaningful rap cameos on a pop hit, but Hav and Prod are up to the task as well, and with LV giving a strong performance, the music on "Pops Was a Rolla" does the original justice (provided one can stomach the hip-hop beat plastered over it).
Whatever its exact status in the canon of gangsta rap, this debut is nothing short of a blueprint for classic West Coast gangsta rap.

After their follow-up, 1994's N Gatz We Truss, generated a sizable amount of attention in the gangsta rap underground, Def Jam signed the group, eventually resulting in their most realized album, 1997's All Day Everyday.
Despite their lack of commercial success, the group does stand alongside fellow early-'90s West Coast collectives such as NWA, Compton's Most Wanted, and Above the Law as gangsta rap pioneers.
