 Carthage Psychiatrist Pleads Guilty To Misconduct
A three year suspension of her medical license was stayed in exchange for her guilty plea and she has agreed to permanently limit her practice to a supervised setting such as a state-licensed facility.
OPMC said that while she was practicing in Maine, she was diagnosed with a condition that could impair her ability to treat patients.
It was also alleged by OPMC that while at the Lewis County facility in 2003, she had provide Zoloft for a patient without meeting with the patient, conducting any follow-up visit or making a written record of the treatment.
