I went to Casa Loma on a school trip once and it is a fantastic house.
Casa Loma is the first Castle I've ever visited and will remain my favorite because of that fact.
Casa Loma is the only real castle I've been to, and I think that it had magnificent gardens and a great overlook of the city in the far distance.

After reading one person's story here about Casa Loma, I feel I must relate mine also, as it is quite the opposite, and perhaps I can clear up some misconceptions about the history of the house also.
