Following positive response from his guests, Bogart convinced Giorgio Moroder to record an expanded version of the song and release it as the centerpiece of a Donna Summer album on Oasis.

 Casablanca Records Story
By spring of 1975, Casablanca's main rock group, Kiss, and main funk group, Parliament, were almost unknown to the record-buying public at large.
Bogart played the new record for the dance crowd at one of Casablanca's never-ending parties, and they demanded that it be played over and over so they could keep in that groove.
Sure, they were selling tons of records, but the "whatever it takes" approach to selling them often meant that the promotional parties and such, along with the extravagant lifestyle of the staff, cost more than the records were bringing in.

It is difficult to date precisely, but at some point during late 1979 or very early 1980, "Casablanca Records and Filmworks" released their first and (as far as I am aware) only multi-act Promotional Sampler album aimed specifically at the UK market.
Since 1977, PYE Records had handled the UK distribution of Casablanca material but that association was soon to come to an end as Casablanca was now to be released via the European arm of Polygram Records - Phonogram (prior to this of course EMI handled distribution for the UK).

TK Records - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
TK Records is closely associated with the early rise of disco music, being the label on which the first disco song to become a #1 hit on the pop music charts was released, "Rock Your Baby" by George McCrae in 1974.
Within a couple of years, TK's notability in disco music would be surpassed by other labels such as Casablanca Records and RSO Records, but in the early years of disco TK was undoubtedly in the top tier of record labels in the genre.
In 1980 TK Records encountered financial problems and the label was acquired by Morris Levy's Roulette Records, and the unification of the labels formed Sunnyview Records.

Her records wreen't the tightest, but you have to give it up to Donna Summer for her extraordinary streak of success.
The song that would change her life was 1975's "Love to Love You Baby." 16 minutes of moan-and-groan set to a nascent disco beat, it was the first fruit of her relationship with Harold Faltermeyer, Pete Bellotte and Giorgio Moroder, collectively known as the Munich Machine.
After Casablanca Records head honcho Neil Bogart got a positive reaction to the song at a party, he put his promotional muscle behind it and turned the record into a huge success, making Summer the obvious challenger to Gloria Gaynor's then-undisputed status as disco's biggest star.

Cher's first single for super-hot Casablanca in 1979 brought the top-10 smash she was looking for - Take Me Home, a pristinely produced dance tune that became her first hit single in five years, her first since leaving Sonny - and her last for nearly another decade.
