Highest in elevation of all Georgia waterfalls, these high mountain falls have a relative low flow except after a rain, when they come to life.

 Waterfalls, TOCCOA FALLS, GEORGIA
This photograph shows the lower section of Toccoa Falls, a spectacular 186-foot high cascade, 19 feet taller than Niagara Falls, located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College, just off Highway 17 near Toccoa in northern Georgia.
A huge torrent poured over the falls, killing 39 people on the Toccoa Falls Bible College campus.
Early on November 6, 1977 a torrential rainstorm dropped 9 inches of water, causing an earthen dam to collapse.
