Cascade Export Stout, is similar to the stout featured in the Degrave's Collection however is brewed with a shorter maturation time and has a slightly stronger flavour.

The keg of the (Better) cascade holding up ok. Kevin says that he has hung around more than one home brewing person and this beer was not the home brew that he remembers.

Master brewer for CUB Dermott O’Donnell said it was quite common for beer to be drunk with meals during summer, essentially because they are lighter in flavour, however he said this was Cascade’s answer for winter meals.
While the spring beer will see the seasonal range completed, it is likely they will continue to be brewed next year due to their popularity.
Whether or not the beers are changed or made to the same recipes is yet to be seen.

At this point I need to add that I fermented this at Ale temperatures of 64-68 degrees, so technically this is a mixed style beer and not a lager.
As with most fruit beers, this will age fairly well and I think it will reach it's peak at about 6 weeks.
This is very refreshing, aromatic, crisp beer, perfect for a picnic, or a break while working in your garden.

The Celtic Copper is a dark amber beer with a small head that laces well.
The beers colors did shine when accompanied with food, also as the glass warmed up.
Not certain what kind of beer this is, but a "pale" doesn't seem right.

I think the 'craft beer revolution' may not have occurred or at least it may not have been quite the same were it not for Cascade hops.
But, I let the beer condition in the keg for a few days and the next time I tried it, the Grapefruit taste was gone and a nice tasting brew with a great Cascade flavor remained.
The only problem w/ cascades is that it's aroma is so strong and unique that it doesn't belong in any of the traditional styles of beer, and must be reserved for the American ales which have adopted the citrusy tone as a characteristic part of their flavor.

I have had some excellent micro brews in Canada and the US Pacific Northwest, but NOTHING tops Cascade in Tasmania and Australia.
Hoppy, but not bitterly, over-powering so (like so many US microbrewerys), smooth but not not leaving an almost film in the mouth (like some European beers and South American beers), full flavored with a fruity topnote, but not over-done (like Asian beers).
I have sampled many beers in many countries and I reckon Cascade Premium is by far the finest.

From testicle, this and cascade are the only two premium beers which are actually worth the premium pricetag.
Only thing that bothers me about Premium beers is the fact that the come in cardboard packaging, which tends to get soggy and break, and is not conducive to lugging around, as the traditional plastic is. I think perhaps, its marginally smoother than Cascade Premium, dare i say it.
Boag's is a fantastic beer to drink after a meal, or as a warm up for a big night.

Whilst popular in many countries, where it is often brewed under license, and popularised by advertising making use of stereotypes of Australians as unsophisticated bush-dwellers, Fosters Lager is highly unpopular in its home country, where Victoria Bitter, also made by a company owned by Fosters, is almost universally regarded as a superior low-cost "basic" beer.
The Fosters brand is also used in Australia on several other beers, notably Fosters Light Ice[?], a low-alcohol lager.
