A silvery cigar-shaped UFO was sighted in several cities in Brazil's state of Rio Grande do Sul, located 900 kilometers (540 miles) southwest of Rio de Janeiro.
Elsewhere in Brazil, on Monday, November 18, 2002, a UFO appeared over the mid-sized city of Casimiro de Abreu, located 175 kilometers (105 miles) northeast of Rio de Janeiro.
The object, seen by dozens of eyewitnesses, was videotaped by Sergio Chapelin, a local resident.
