They came to Cass county in the eighties, buying the old Erastus White farm, near what is known as the White schoolhouse, soon becoming favorably known and respected for their good citizenship and industry.
She was born in Middlefield, Otsego county, N.Y., December 11, 1805, and December 26, 1822, was married to Squire Mead at Amenia, N.Y. In 1834, with her husband, she came to Michigan and settled Aug. 1st, at Edwardsburg, where they continued to reside until April, 1847, when they came to Cassopolis.
The deceased was born in Butler county, O., and in 1835 moved with her parents to Wayne township, where she was married to F. VanAntwerp at the age of 20.

So far, in Cass County, Nancy Rice may abuse my daughter just about any way she sees fit and I will take the blame for it and be denied visitation thanks to the criminal acts of people like Jacqueline Carter who are professional at brainwashing children.
Jennifer Lester of the Cass County Friend of the Court personally knew because she was ready to temporarily suspend my visitation in 1994, and did an investigation earlier in August of 1994, and had access to all sorts of records pertaining to the history of prior abuse by Nancy Rice and ignored it then also.

Cass County Prosecutor Victor Fitz refuses to acknowledge that I have made many attempts to contact him and provide him with evidence to consider and review.
Cass County has only been the beginning of these experiences for what I eventually came to understand is not unique to Cass County but is a nationwide problem and there is more than enough sufficient evidence of this in the many news articles and lawsuits that are being filed as each day goes by.
The other problem with Cass County corruption is only a minority of the Cass County population is being subjected to this corruption and not the majority or you could be certain there would be far more attention being paid to it.
