Cass County prosecutor gets starving boy case CASSOPOLIS -- The Michigan State Police has given the Cass County Prosecutor's Office its report on an emaciated 16-year-old boy with cerebral palsy whose weight had dropped to just 40 pounds before he was hospitalized. Prosecutor Victor Fitz said Tuesday that he and his staff needed more time to go over the findings before deciding whether to file charges.
