  SPORTCAST USA - TOURNAMENT CASTING RULES
During the 125 gram individual casting event all members of each team will mark and have recorded their 3 longest casts as part of the team event, giving each team member 3 casts for each days team event.
A single cast of the 3 recorded for the Team events can also be utilized for an individual scoring cast.
After a cast is completed, a caster must place his/her rod on the ground ahead of the base line or in a designated area set aside by tournament officials.

There was different competitions such as casting for distance, casting for accuracy, fly casting, dry fly casting, etc. This (OASAC) first place medal was given to the champion caster for fly distance by the Ohio Association of Scientific Angling Club.
It was adopted by all of the large Bait Casting Clubs in the country as an official Casting Frog.
