 American Wedding DVD Review
American Pie had a great scene with Shannon Elizabeth, and American Pie 2 had a rather poor scene in which you see Sean Williams Scott and Jason Biggs kiss while only seeing a little bit of the females, but American Wedding does not fail in that category.
But unlike American Pie, American Wedding doesn't have young actors, all the actors with the exception of January Jones have been in a good amount of movies and television shows which in turn gave them a little more experience and improved their acting.
American Wedding certainly redeems itself in the nudity department with a Bachelor party which includes a prissy maid and Nikki Ziering as a dirty cop and a lot of awkwardness which is hilarious.

USIA - Portrait of the USA, Ch. 11
A studio could gamble on a medium-budget feature with a good script and relatively unknown actors: Citizen Kane (1941), directed by Orson Welles (1915-1985) and widely regarded as the greatest of all American movies, fits that description.
At motion pictures' height of popularity in the mid-1940s, the studios were cranking out a total of about 400 movies a year, seen by an audience of 90 million Americans per week.
Added to the skyrocketing salaries paid actors, studio heads, and deal-making agents, it means that movies released today tend to be either huge successes or huge failures, depending on how well their enormous costs match up with the public taste.
