 New missile Dhanush to be test fired in March
The government has also decided to go in for three more of the latest `Delhi class' destroyers taking the total number of ships in this category to six, they said adding that the new destroyer `INS MUMBAI' of this class is likely to join the fleet next month.
NEW DELHI, FEB 2: A new surface-to-surface missile Dhanush, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, will be test fired next month for the first time from on board a navy ship, informed sources said today.
The sources said certain other missiles on board destroyers like `INS DELHI' and `INS MYSORE' and some other warships could also be tipped with nuclear weapons.

BPL is ahead with 2.4 lakh subscribers in Mumbai compared to Bharti with 2.36 lakh users in Delhi, according to the figures of the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).
Ironically, while none of the high-profile `A' category cellular circles have crossed the two lakh user mark as yet, Kerala in the humbler `B' category will be the first circle to cross the milestone.
The BPL group with its operations in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu remains at the top with 5.1 lakh users, followed by the Bharti group with a total user base of a little over four lakh with its licenses and acquired companies in Delhi, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, Karntaka and Himachal Pradesh.

New Delhi, Nov 9: Over 18 hotels, including the five-star Qutub Hotel in Delhi, ITC Park Sheraton Hotel in Chennai and Centaur Hotel in Mumbai, have been issued showcause notices by the government for not complying with the guidelines of their star classification.
A senior tourism ministry official said: "The notices were given to those hotels whose star-category classifications had expired and were not renewed on time."
Government has now directed the hotels to apply for reclassification on time failing which would subject them to removal from the list, and has also revised application for classification/reclassfication for all the star category.

“It was initially administered by Delhi and even after Cooch Behar became a district of Bengal on January 1, 1950, its affairs were presided over by a chief commissioner appointed by Delhi for about six months,” Deb said.

In the fourth year of operation the RoI in Delhi is 2.9 per cent and that of Maharashta and TN is -1.1 and -6.8 respectively.
The RoI in the first year of operation in Delhi is -24.1 per cent, while in Maharashta and TN it is -21.8 and -21.9 per cent, respectively.
