 Government Size and Economic Growth
The only category of federal spending, which shows some positive relationship with output, is the "other" category, a residual category that includes such things as educational, highway, environmental, agricultural, and foreign aid spending.
Economic progress is limited when government is zero percent of the economy, but also when it is at or near 100 percent.
While the current economic boom has been long lived and been characterized by unemployment as low as we have seen in more than two decades, this is the first long (more than three years) economic recovery since reliable data were first available in (1854).

Economics is a social science that studies human behaviour and welfare as a relationship between ends socially required and scarce means which have alternative uses (Lionel Robbins, 1935).
(This is not the only definition of economics, although it is the dominant one.) Interchangeably, Economics is the study of the utilization and distribution of scarce resources among individuals, with the goal of improving their welfare.

Marxian economics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
To some, Marxian economics may be viewed not as an all-encompassing approach, but as one important element in an analytical toolset--perhaps part of a broader category of heterodox economics or radical political economy.
The adherents of Marxian economics, particularly in academia, distinguish it from Marxism as a political ideology, arguing that Marx's approach to understanding the economy is an intellectually valuable one, independent of Marx's advocacy for revolutionary socialism or the inevitability of proletarian revolution.
Marxian economics refers to a body of economic thought stemming from the work of Karl Marx.

 Doc
Feminist economics is a scientific and theoretic discipline approaching economic issues from a wider social and political standpoint.
Feminist economics investigates the ways in which theoretic concepts of economics are gendered, and how gendered concepts and theories help in the distribution of power relations and status.
Feminist economy redefines economy from the viewpoint of gender as an analytic category and its relation to other identity categories such as racial, class and gender orientation, comprising and demonstrating the governing hierarchies and privileges in economic and social systems.

 Bond
These theories are part of a broader category called creditary economics.
In finance and economics, a bond or debenture is a debt instrument that obligates the issuer to pay to the bondholder the principal (the original amount of the loan) plus interest.

TCHP Grant Categories: Community Development Grants
Projects that create and implement a comprehensive community planning partnership that incorporates humanistic understandings of history and culture, historical and cultural narrative, and the methods of the humanities — analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation — are eligible to apply in this category.
Community Development Planning Projects should examine the full spectrum of community concerns relevant to any serious projection of a community's future and produce a planning document that incorporates, and is understood through, the continuing and changing narrative of the community's people in relationship to each other and to the place that they share.
The project must produce a well-written and well-researched plan for development that attempts to create from the community's diversity a unified narrative of the community's past, present and future.

 Public Economics Division (PRDPE)
The Public Economics Division (PRDPE) seeks to support and strengthen the analytical basis of fiscal reforms in developing countries through a mix of research, the development of tools, operational support, and training.
In the former category are research projects on the relationship between fiscal decentralization and economic growth, social indicators and the size of government, using case studies of China, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
A second study looks at the effects of intergovernmental grants on the composition of public spending at the subnational level, including the implications of this pattern of spending for growth and distribution.

TRANS Nr. 15: Paul Ghils (Bruxelles, Belgium): International Relations and its Languages: A Transdisciplinary Perspective
So formalized, the scientific view translates in various disciplines: in political science the state behaviour is caused by structural factors; in economics, the behaviour of firms is dictated by the "invisible hand" of market forces conceived as a system; in discourse analysis, meaning is constructed in accordance with underlying social and cultural value.
A second category of non-state entities is MNCs, which have also been proclaimed as new actors on the international scene as new agents of economic development, this time quite unofficially.
The function of cognition is adaptive and serves the organization of the experiental world, allowing for a transdisciplinary picture different from a mere combination of data extracted from various disciplines, as the case would be with a strict interdisciplinary approach.
