WJYE was fourth in the same groupings with a 6.8 rating in the 12-plus category and a 7.1 mark in the 25-54 category while WBLK was fifth in both categories with a 6.1 share in the 12-plus and a 7 share in the 25-54 bracket.

In New Category 2 specialty television services approved, Decision CRTC 2000-650, 24 November 2000, the Commission approved an application by Shaw, Rogers and their U.S. partner MSNBC Cable, LLC, for a broadcasting licence to carry on a new Category 2 specialty television service to be known as MSNBC Canada.
Following a similar examination of Bloomberg’s program schedule and service description, and having considered the record of this proceeding, the Commission finds Bloomberg to be a financial news service that focuses primarily on international business and financial news and information having an appeal to a more narrow audience than that of a general news service.
