Students Kaitlin Critchley, Laurie Cunningham, Erin Lloyd and Kyle Percifield represented the Foothills area during the Canada Wide Science Fair held in London, Ontario from May 13-21.
Cunningham, a student from Millarville Community School, earned an honorable mention in the earth and environmental sciences category for her project entitled, 'Acid Snow,' which analyzed acidic conditions of snow in Southern Alberta.
Percifield, a Blackie School student, came out of the national science fair competition with the top award in his category of engineering.
