 Glossary
A theory of probability is a way of assigning meaning to probability statements such as "the chance that a thumbtack lands point-up is 2/3." That is, a theory of probability connects the mathematics of probability, which is the set of consequences of the axioms of probability, with the real world of observation and experiment.
According to the frequency theory of probability, the probability of an event is the limit of the percentage of times that the event occurs in repeated, independent trials under essentially the same circumstances.
According to the subjective theory of probability, a probability is a number that measures how strongly we believe an event will occur.

In the category Sets, a subobject of A corresponds to a subset B of A, or rather the collection of all maps from sets equipotent to B with image exactly B. The subobject partial order of a set in Sets is just its subset lattice.

Miller's theory adds the observation that in the psychophysical dimension, the collapse from x possibilities is directed by survival needs linked to memory and homeostasis providing a feedback system that leads to (all things considered) the best available choice for the maintenance of survival.

Topos theory (from mathematics, foundations of) --  Encyclopædia Britannica
The original purpose of category theory had been to make precise certain technical notions of algebra and topology and to present crucial results of divergent mathematical fields in an elegant and uniform way, but it soon became clear that categories had an important role to play in the foundations of mathematics.
The quest for rigour > Category theory > Topos theory
It embraces the subjects of arithmetic, geometry, algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, and many other special areas of research.
