The category of pro-spectra with its ss*-model structure is Quillen equivalent to the opposite of the category of symmetric spectra with its usual stable model structure.
Suppose that C is a stable model category in the sense that the loops and suspension functors are inverse Quillen equivalences of C with itself.
We define a homotopy theory for the category of pro-spectra and show that its opposite is equivalent to the usual homotopy theory of spectra.

PUERTO RICO HERALD: The Normandie begins a new era as a boutique hotel, with a new affiliation
Normandie Hotel is the first property in the Caribbean to join WorldHotels (formerly SRS WorldHotels), classified as "First Class," a category assigned to properties with superior accommodations, sophisticated atmosphere, and pleasant service, General Manager Thomas Pauly said.
Normandie Hotel, opened in 1942, was the brainchild of a Puerto Rican engineer as a tribute to his French wife, Moineau, whom he met on the French ocean liner SS Normandie.
After a $7.5 million restoration, the legendary hotel reopens offering ocean-front facilities, business centers, and spacious, art deco rooms

Contaminated water diving in Newfoundland complicated issue.
Once OHandS found out they refused me access saying that all divers must now be category 1.
In the meanwhile in Newfoundland SS diving continued by unschooled On the Job training commercial divers but I was told by the DSS that all divers would have to be CSA 275.4 compliant from that point forward.
Instead it ended up in loss of contract, an investment of almost $70,000 in equipment trying to meet a standard that the government had no idea what to apply or what their responsibilities were.

Axis History Forum :: View topic - Question about SS ranks
In the case of the Germans, their main differences lie with the lower enlisted ranks: they have 2 grades of private and three grades of lance-corporal, all classed in the same category of Mannschaften, meaning enlisted men.
Don't forget that the SS was originally a political organisation so when a military branch was formed into the Waffen-SS its ranks had to be brought into line with traditional military standards.
I was intrested in whether the SS rank was a W-SS rank, or a death card for an Allegemeine SS Unterscharfhurer, which would be quite rare.

The Avalon Project : Nuremberg Trial Proceedings Volume 18
Funk also knew that the concentration camps were under the direction of the SS and thought that the valuables which were to be given to the Reichsbank by the SS for safekeeping belonged very probably to that category of valuables which the entire population was obliged to deliver.
Finally, as has been ascertained in the course of this Trial, the SS was constantly just as much engaged in the fighting in the East as the Armed Forces, and like the latter the SS had also collected so-called booty in the abandoned and destroyed towns of the East and delivered it to the Reich.
However, in any case, the demand of the SS for secrecy evidently did not strike Vice President Puhl as unusual any more than it did the witness Thoms who had nothing at all to do with the matter but who confirmed the fact that this secrecy was nothing unusual.
