The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures - GameCube Review
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, in addition to having a mouthful of a title, most definitely falls into the third category, sitting right next to Mario vs. Donkey Kong and DK: King of Swing.
Four Swords Adventures is comprised of two gameplay modes: The Hyrulean Adventure mode, and Shadow Battle.
Shadow Battle is a simple out-and-out death match for two to four players, in which players battle it out in a variety of arenas (both side scrolling and top-down) using the weapons and tools from the game.

 War Merit Cross
All grades (except for the War Merit Medal) were compromised of an eight-pointed Maltese cross, with a pair of military style swords fitted between the arms of the cross distinguishing the combatant category from the non-combatant category which had no swords but was otherwise identical.

 POST IMPRESSIONS ONLINE: On Stage
The Guinness Book of Records retired the category of sword swallowing in 1970 after an American circus performer choked to death in his attempt to swallow 13 swords.
In front of a crowd, cringing behind their hands, a breakfast-free Mathew lubricated each sword with jelly, swallowed a mouthful of the lubricant, gathered the swords in his hands and, throwing his head back, shoved four-and-a-half kilos of solid stainless steel into his stomach.
Launching the Fremantle Buskers Festival on Thursday "Saint Mathew", the patron saint of vaudeville, broke the world record for sword swallowing by thrusting 14 custom-made 60cm-long swords down his throat.

HISTORICAL CLASSIFICATION OF WAKIZASHI AND THE TAXONOMY OF NIHON
In short, the fact that the term "wakizashi" came to refer to a category of swords that are shorter than the "main sword" was *only consequential* because the "main sword" of the samurai had almost always been a long sword (i.e., tachi or uchigatana) and "a side/peripheral sword" had naturally been a "shorter sword."
However, until many years after the end of the Japanese Civil War (circa 1600) those old laws regulating the bearers of swords were not always followed by the people in Japan.
In short, depending on the shape, length and purposes of the blades, both the "legal" (strictly based on the blade length) and "academic" (based both on the blade length and functions/purposes) classifications of Nihon-to are in use concurrently in modern Japan.

 Sword dance - free-definition
Sword dances include solo dancers around swords – such as the traditional Scottish sword dances, mock battle dances, and hilt-and-point sword dances – where the dancers are linked together by their swords in a chain.
Although sometimes treated as a form of Morris dance, sword dancers are proud of their own tradition and often wish to be treated as a traditional dance category in its own right.
Hilt-and-point sword dances traditional to England include rapper sword and Long Sword, although both of these are now also performed by revival teams outside their traditional areas, including teams in most of the English-speaking world.

 Shono Seiki's Aikido Lectures
Because the definition of kenjutsu is the "most effective way to use swords", iai-jutsu certainly belongs to this category.
People studied techniques of kenjutsu for their action after their swords were drawn in their hands.

GPG is working on a way of balancing play issues now, though they say it will not be possible to max out in every single category, giving the game replayability.

Forced suicide - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In some cases Japanese seppuku could fall into this category, since failing to commit seppuku can in some situations lead to great dishonor for a samurai and his family.
As a mark of respect it was generally reserved for aristocrats sentenced to death - the victims would either drink hemlock or fall on their swords.
Forced suicide is a method of execution where the victim is given the choice of commiting suicide, or facing an alternative they perceive as worse - like suffering torture, or having friends or family members killed.

 Medieval Weaponry
Blunt and sharp-headed lances were used in "jousts of peace" (tournaments) and "jousts of war." And, swords, axes, maces, and hammers with spikes never disappeared from the medieval weapons inventory.
Consequently, while the castle played a key role in the deaths of many people during the Middle Ages, it falls into a category of its own and will not be included in this discussion of medieval weaponry.
While the castle was, arguably, the most formidable weapon of medieval warfare, generally when we think of weapons we think of something much smaller, movable, and able to wreak havoc and death on an opponent.
