		Caucasian is originally a geographical term, meaning relative or pertaining to the Caucasus region of Eastern Europe and West Asia.
		In common usage in the Europe, Asia and former USSR countries "Caucasian" is a collective term which refers to anyone descended from native ethnicities of Caucasus.
		Usage of the term "Caucasian" for "White Colored Person" is common in many countries of the Anglosphere, but it is not universal.

		Darwin spoke of the "gorilla" and the "Negro" [sic] as occupying evolutionary positions between the "Baboon" and the "civilized races of man" ("Caucasian"); viz: At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilized races of man will almost certainly exterminate, and replace, the savage races throughout the world.
		The break between man and his nearest allies will then be wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilized state, as we may hope, even than the Caucasian, and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as now between the Negro [sic] or Australian and the gorilla.
		Although support for Darwin's theory was by no means universal, by the 1920s textbooks such as George William Hunter's 1914 Civic Biology that supported the idea that man had evolved from a lower life form, were prevalent in public schools.

		As the major survival element in human evolution is intelligence, the conclusion that the higher evolved race, the Caucasians, possessed a superior intelligence was uncritically accepted for decades.
		The lowest type of men now living, the Australian savages, are at a sufficiently great remove from the civilized type to overthrow Dr. Clark's theory, which, instead of embodying the good points of the creational and developmental theories, actually combines the difficulties of both.
		The major types, A, B, AB, and O, are present in all races, although in slightly different percentages.
