 Caveman by Gottlieb
Caveman was the world's first hybrid pinball-video game, and being the first is an important honour, as there were only 2 others; both from Bally.
Caveman was featured in a Playmeter magazine article entitled "The Missing Link", and both Gottlieb and Bally had the idea that these hybrid games would be a big hit and win over all the video-game players.....wrong!
The playfield layout of Caveman is apparent in the submitted drawings, however the video-game concept presented revolves around a video-ball and dragons to be slayed or avoided.

 Caveman Facts Versus Archaeological Folly
Considering the caveman overcame his primitive circumstances, a situation which was cast upon him, is actually proof he was intelligent… perhaps highly intelligent.
Just because the caveman didn't use modern scientific methods to substantiate his beliefs, although as a result he probably attributed a particular cause for something in error occasionally, or perhaps frequently, that doesn’t equate to zero knowledge.
It should be safe to assume the caveman would have developed a few marks or signs which others in his clan could recognize the meaning of… like say, what a pile of rocks meant, “x” marks on a tree or arrows scratched in the dirt.

A fanfare-fragment of the main theme follows, then there is rising anticipation in the full orchestra and finally relaxation in the form of sweetly innocent strings and woodwind material and a resounding crescendo.

A well dressed caveman sighs disgustedly and says in a overly sophisticated tone, "That is SO condescending." The third commercial takes place in a posh restaurant, a Geico executive apologizing to two cavemen, one dressed like he belongs on Miami Vice.
The use of a caveman as an example is really interesting both because of the manner in which the caveman seems to be growing more popular in commercials and because of the peculiar way the caveman is mentioned in diet books.

 Ink 19 :: Caveman
A very dubious concept involving good and evil frogs alongside the caveman himself surrounds this album, an instrumental affair where the music is far better than the liner notes indicate.
Somewhat reminiscent of Mezzoforte out on an eco-mission, Caveman consists of five technically superior fusion instrumentalists (all in tribal war paint on the accompanying press photo) that blend their sprawling jazz with some vaguely defined shaman ideology.
There are a couple of truly impressive numbers here, notably the vocal-enhanced dub of "New Son" and the fine jazz rock of "The Dragon," both offering great examples of the band's willingness to step back and focus on coherency rather than individual exposure.

The Caveman's Valentine: (Terence Blanchard) Once in a while, there are films in which a certain genre of music or a particular instrument plays such an integral role that the music is meant to dominate the film.

The Caveman's Valentine DVD review on AudioRevolution.com
Many reviews of "The Caveman's Valentine" (so called because the body is found on February 14th) were surprisingly negative; critics seemed annoyed that no explanation for Ledbetter's mental condition is ever offered -- but he's probably a paranoid schizophrenic, and there's almost never any obvious reason why someone tumbles into that particular mental abyss.
At the very end, there's the slightest hint that things might be a little better for him in the future, but that's not the point of the story.
Even though "The Caveman's Valentine" is primarily a murder mystery, and a very good one, without being pretentious, it's also about human dignity.

Teenage Caveman (2001): Andrew Keegan, Richard Hillman, Tiffany Limos - PopMatters Film Review
The titular caveman, David (Andrew Keegan, the narcissistic pretty boy from 10 Things I Hate About You), kills his father, a self-elected messiah of the clan (think: Jim Jones or David Koresh), after pop tries to rape his son's sweetheart, Sarah (the too skinny Tara Subkoff), having picked her to be his disciple, or something.
The rest is run-of-the-mill exploitation fun: by living the high life in the penthouse and having sexual intercourse with Neil and his hyper-sexualized girlfriend, Judith (a mostly naked Tiffany Limos), the cavekids are suckered into becoming receptacles for the former party-hearty couple's modified superhuman genes, which will eventually allow them to engender another human race.
Which is cool, because Teenage Caveman is a comparatively low budget horror flick you rent for those Friday nights when you're chilling with your friends and in the mood for guilty pleasures, something that can make all of you laugh your asses off while satisfying that urge for gratuitous gore.
