Cedar Fair, L.P. is a publicly-traded company that owns and operates amusement parks in North America.
Cedar Fair's name is constructed from the names of its first two parks, Cedar Point and Valleyfair.
On March 10th, 2004, Cedar Fair acquired Six Flags Worlds of Adventure in Aurora, Ohio and renamed the park Geauga Lake.

Defendants are three of Cedar Fair's top administrators, Richard L. Kinzel, chairman, president and chief executive officer; Daniel R. Keller, vice president and general manager of Cedar Point; and Richard J. Collingwood, corporate vice president of administration, according to the lawsuit.
When Cedar Fair LP shareholders voted to adopt a new compensation system in August 2000, Paul and Albino consented to a termination agreement ''believing the only thing being terminated was the right to receive incentive compensation payments,'' the lawsuit said.
