Clark Township 2001 Audit Summary - September 8, 2001 - Clark Township Treasurer, Charles Nye
The system of internal control appeared to be adequate and was improved this fiscal year by the Township Board approving of the Clerk keeping the disbursement and receipts journals and general ledger records of the Special Revenue Funds and Sewer Funds rather than the Treasurer and the administrative assistant as was done in prior years.
The financial reports included in the audit appear to be in agreement with the Township's accounting records, except the budgets of the Sewer Debt and Expansion Funds did not seem to be as close to the actual amounts as it seems they could have.
The Township had $858,206 of cash and cash investments at June 30, 2001 in the bank of which $352,657 was insured.
