Myton is a name most Jamaicans associate with the former national middle-distance runner, Neville.
Myton says that this trip home has been good for him in more ways than one because, not only has he recorded for the famous Studio One label for the first time, but he has also reunited with his friend, Johnson, and they plan to do some work together in the future.
Myton says that he is concerned that "the values of the music have been lost", which might affect the local sales of the album, but is certain that the quality of the songs will win him new fans.

What's more, Cedric Myton's great, soulful falsetto vocals are more extended and come more to the fore.
Myton packs an emotional whallop as he switches in and out of his trademark, occasionally Bee Gees-like falsetto, while ample backing vocals come courtesy of reggae luminaries like Earl Morgan (of Heptones fame) and Junior Delgado, plus Myton himself.
Myton wrote/co-wrote and produced every track (some with his wife Yvonne) and is on top of his game, crafting classic roots melodies that play perfectly off of the powerhouse music.
