		Could someone recommend good introductory textbook(s) on the subject...say, in the lines of astronomical ephemeris, celestial mechanics etc. I'm not sure if they come under the same topic.I have seen one book in the library though - Orbital Mechanics by A.E.Roy.
		As such, it deals a lot with potential energy of orbits, specific mechanical energy, eccentricity vectors, the "Gauss problem", and the like.
		Meeus's book is mostly about calculating planetary, lunar, and solar positions, celestial precession, magnitudes, and the like; most of it is basic geometry and trigonometry.
