The 2001 Centennial Conference Player of the Year, he finished his career one point short of joining Anthony Vattilana '92 as the only players in F&M history to register 100 career points, as Runyon closed the books on a four year career with a school record 44 goals and 11 assists for 99 points.
She is the program's first Conference Player of the Year and becomes just the seventh player in Centennial Conference history to earn first-team All-Conference recognition three times.
In addition, she was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week on October 15 for scoring four second-half goals in the Diplomats' 6-1 victory over Bryn Mawr.

He led his delegation to the General Conference of 1912, and was a member of the Financial Board from 1912 to 1916, and fraternal delegate to the M. Church general conference at Saratoga Springs, May, 1916.

The Centennial Conference, the athletic association in which Johns Hopkins plays most of its NCAA Division III sports, earlier this month adopted a reform package aimed at enhancing its academic and athletic balance.
According to the conference's governing body, the goal of the reforms is to foster the ideals of Division III athletics, which are to ensure that the academic experience remains the priority and fundamental purpose of each institution.
In the effort to have other conferences adopt similar stances, the new reforms will be proposed at the 2004 national convention of NCAA Division III conferences, to be held in Nashville, Tenn., in January 2004, Ulrich said.

 Haverford College Athletics: Fords Honored By Centennial Conference
On the heels of weekly Centennial honors in baseball, softball, and women’s lacrosse, the final Conference men’s lacrosse Player of the Week was Joe Mauri ’06, who had 12 goals and an assist in Haverford’s final two wins, including eight tallies in an 18-5 rout of DeSales University to tie the College’s single-game record.
In conference post-season balloting, Mindy Walman ’04 was a first-team women’s lacrosse all-star, pitcher Nick Chanock ’05 a second-team baseball all-star, and women’s lacrosse’s Leigh James ’03 and Margaret Sampson ’06, men’s lacrosse’s Eric Seideman '04 and Mike Fischette '04, and baseball's Brandon Mills ’05 and Chris Hancock ’03 honorable mention selections.
Three-time Centennial champion Caitlin Kight ’03 upped her meet-record to 3,942 points and led a 1-4-5 Haverford finish in the two-day heptathlon, winning the 100-meter hurdles (17.16), high jump (5’0.25”), 200-meter dash (26.83) and 800-meter run (2:25.30) en route to the title.

The Centennial Conference is a NCAA Division III athletic conference with members in Pennsylvania and Maryland - Bryn Mawr, Dickinson, Franklin & Marshall, Gettysburg, Haverford, Johns Hopkins, McDaniel, Muhlenberg, Swarthmore, Ursinus and Washington College.
The "Final Fours" are set for the 2005 Centennial field hockey, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball championship tournaments this weekend at four locations.

I think that the centennial was an occasion for readers and scholars to think about Faulkner's work, to think about what they like best of all, and to think about what perhaps has been ignored but is valuable to them.

 Hitchcock Centennial Conference - First-hand Report
The screenwriters’ forum and the one-on-one between conference director Richard Allen and Jay Presson Allen (Marnie) were particularly interesting and hopefully illuminating to several commentators and scholars who continually disparage the contributions of Hitchcock’s best writers.
One of the most interesting presentations of the conference was Sidney Gottlieb’s “Unknown Hitchcock: The Unrealized Projects.” This is an area of Hitchcock’s work that has intrigued me since I read about projects like No Bail for the Judge, Mary Rose and Frenzy (aka Kaleidoscope) in Donald Spoto’s The Dark Side of Genius.
When conference director Richard Allen asked what the writer thought of the analysis of Hitchcock’s work that has taken place over the last ten or fifteen years.

It is expected that all the posters will be displayed during the whole conference, with the presenting author in attendance at the poster session on the specified day: odd poster numbers on Thursday, 23th and even numbers on Friday, 24th.
