The Sarajevo Canton is a canton of the Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The canton was a result of this warfare, created by the Bosniak-Croat Washington Accords in 1994, and its boundaries defined by the Dayton Accords in 1995.
The employment rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina is 45.5% officially; however, grey economy may reduce actual unemployment to between 25 and 30%, while in sarajevo the official unemployment rate is around 20% of the labour force.

West Bosnia Canton is the tenth canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in the western part of Bosnia.
The area of the canton, which includes 6 municipalities (Drvar, Bosansko Grahovo, Glamoč, Kupres, Livno, Tomislavgrad), is 5,020 km², a tenth of the surface of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
At the 1991 census, 115,726 people inhabited the Canton; at present, there are about 90,000.

Officially Bosnian (with n) is any inhabitant of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bosniak (with k) is that part of the population formerly known as Muslim.
However, the Federation is the federation of 10 cantons and not of two countries, one called Bosnia and the other Herzegovina.

As La Strada BiH was asked by the State Commission, EUPM and OSCE to train local and state border police, it was decided to organise trainings for policemen (policemen from the Canton of Central Bosnia, Canton of Herzegovina-Bosnia, Canton of West Herzegovina and Herzegovina-Neretva Canton).
In addition to this, several contacts with EUPM from different cantons were established (an agreement on training sessions for local and state border police).
