		The North Central Hockey League was formed in 1983 and consists of 10 skating rinks in Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska, with as many as 20 travel teams representing each rink.
		The league sanctioning was announced by USA Hockey InLine Director Gary Del Vecchio (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and North Central Hockey League President Roger Fish (Bethany, Mo.).
		The Skating Rink Inline Hockey Association was created to unify and assist in the development of inline hockey leagues operated by roller skating centers.
