 | | By the end of 1865, the South Western Railroad Company of Georgia had constructed a railroad bridge across the Chattahoochee to Eufaula, and by the time the Vicksburg and Brunswick Depot was built in 1872, three rail lines connected the city with other parts of Alabama and Georgia. |
