Former Victorian Premier, Sir Rupert Hamer, will launch the Greenhouse Activities on 13 July 1999 at the CitiPower Energy Park near the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES) in Lee St., East Brunswick at 2 pm.
Environmental Sustainability and Energy Conservation Portfolio Councillor Leigh Snelling said the new and significantly revised booklet was part of the ongoing Moreland Energy Education Program which begun in 1998.
"The curriculum material is an important development in environmental education that assists in filling an existing gap in greenhouse education materials,’ Cr Snelling said.

A high level Japanese delegation will investigate environmental and energy initiatives at the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES) in Brunswick later this month.
The Osaka Science and Technology Centre delegation is headed by Professor Yukata Suzuki from Setsunan University, and includes other academic leaders and senior managers from the Japanese energy industry.
As part of their bid for the 2008 Olympic Games in Osaka, the delegation will investigate the efficiency of new energy sources being developed by CERES.
