 | | As you go underneath the centreboard, the boat will flip, and suddenly you will find yourself lying on top of the board, with the mast downwind of you, your weight having stopped the boat's natural tendency to go right upside down again. |
 | | One owner has claimed an improvement on this technique: instead of slipping your body under the centreboard, he says that you should reach right down under the water and strongly grab the underwater gunwale, so that as the boat does the flip, you actually arrest it in the upright position, and save time. |
