Centrifuges are useful in laboratories and on an industrial scale for separating solids in suspension in liquids.
The centrifuges used in the industrial separation of cream from milk, and yeast from fermented wort (infused malt), operate by having mixtures pumped through a continually rotating chamber, the components being tapped off at different points.
Large centrifuges are used for physiological research – for example, in astronaut training where bodily responses to gravitational forces many times the normal level are tested.

The principle of Accommodation is that God has chosen to reveal aspects of himself to mankind in a way in which mankind is able to understand.
The Accommodation Reflex is a reflex action of the eye, in response to focusing on a near object, then looking at distant object (and vice versa).

The baseline orbit was at a 55 degree inclination and 456 km altitude.
The modules were delivered to the Station by the Shuttle and could be returned to the ground for major modification or for installation of a different laboratory.
The module was stabilised to within 30 seconds of arc and an independent optics stabilisation system provides the fine (one-tenth arc-second) stabilisation required to utilise the resolution capability of the optics.

Zarya was the first module launched by a Proton rocket in November 1998, followed by a shuttle mission that connected Zarya with Node 1, the first of three node modules, 2 weeks after Zarya had been launched.
The two modules currently in orbit are derivatives of the Mir program and therefore development costs are much lower than for other modules; in addition, the exchange rate between ruble and USD is not adequately giving a real comparison to what the costs for Russia really are.

The CAM is scheduled for launch aboard a Space Shuttle on Utilization Flight 7 (ISS UF-7) in 2006.
The Centrifuge Facility was originally scheduled for both development and construction in the U.S. However, in 1998, an agreement was reached whereby Japan (NASDA) would build the Centrifuge Rotor and the CAM at its own expense to offset the cost to Japan of launching the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) aboard a Space Shuttle.
The centrifuge allows research to be done on specimens across a wide range of G levels allowing the various threshold levels of certain phenomena to be revealed.

 International Space Station Assembly Zvezda
The Zvezda service module is the first fully Russian contribution to the International Space Station and serves as the cornerstone for early human habitation of the station.
Named for the Russian word for ‘Star,’ the service module is scheduled to be launched unpiloted at 12:56:28 AM EDT on July 12 as the third station component, docking by remote control with the already orbiting Zarya and Unity modules at an altitude of about 245 by 230 statute miles (394 x 371 kilometers).
Russia is providing two research modules; the Service Module with its own life support and habitation systems; a science power platform of solar arrays that can supply about 20 kilowatts of electrical power; logistics transport vehicles, and Soyuz spacecraft for crew return and transfer.
