		The Centurion was the primary British Main Battle Tank of the immediate post-war era, and considered by many to be one of the best British tank designs of all time.
		Tank Design responded by extending the long-travel 5-wheel suspension used on the Comet with the addition of a 6th wheel and an extended spacing between the 2nd and 3rd wheels.

		The FV214 Conqueror was a British Main Battle Tank of the post-war era, sometimes classified as a heavy tank.
		It was developed as a response to the Soviet Josef Stalin IS-3 heavy tanks and carried a larger 120 mm gun compared to the Centurion's 105 mm.
		The 201 series was to have used a common hull for all uses (self-propelled artillery, armoured personnel carrier, 3 varieties of tank, etc.).

		The Centurion first saw action during the Korean War with the British Army, and has seen combat all over the world including the Middle East (with the Israeli, Iraqi, Egyptian and Jordanian Armies), South Asia (with the Indian Army) and Vietnam (with the Australian Army).

		The book suffers from a lack of proof reading from someone who knew the vehicle and poor research, (I pointed this out to the publishers before the book was issued) my recommendation for anyone looking for a good Cent book is to buy Simon Dunstans.
