 ceratopia
Ceratopia, also spelled Ceratopsia, is composed of those marginocephalians who are closer to Ceratops (or to the much better known Triceratops) than to Pachycephalosaurus.
Ceratopia as a whole is one of the best-known dinosaur groups, represented by hundreds of skulls and skeletons.
Ceratopia: An entry that suggested ceratopians in the late Campanian-early Maastrichtian (LK) of France turned out to be a typo for "ceratosaurians".

A bird-hip-like pubis, parallel to the vertebral column, independently evolved three times in dinosaur evolution, namely in the ornithischians, the therizinosauroids and in bird-like dromaeosaurids.
The ornithischians are further divided in the two clades: the first are the Thyreophora, which include the Stegosauria (like the armored Stegosaurus) and the Ankylosauria (like Ankylosaurus); the second the Cerapoda, which include the Marginocephalia (Ceratopia like the frilled ceratopsidae and Pachycephalosauria) and the Ornithopoda (among which duck-bills (hadrosaurs) such as Edmontosaurus).
The Cerapoda are a relatively recent grouping (Sereno, 1986), and may conceivably be identical to (synonymous with) the older group, Ornithopoda: most of these divisions are not true by definition.

 Evolutionary Relationships of the Gorgonopsia
This fact was brought up extremely recently by Greek and Latin scholars with an interest in prehistoric animals.
Actually, it started because some people pointed out that the very-well known dinosaur groups Ceratopsia and Ceratopsidae were improperly formed from the ancient languages and are more correctly spelled Ceratopia and Ceratopidae based on the rules of nomenclature.
Of course, Ceratopsia is one of the best-known and established names in all of paleontology, so scientists are loath to start calling it "Ceratopia", and some think that in this case the incorrect form should be retained for reasons of clarity.
