  Cessna - Trust
Cessna Aircraft Company closed its doors from 1932–1934 due to the state of the economy.
Cessna was bought by General Dynamics Corporation in 1985, and it stopped producing piston-engine aircraft the next year due to concerns over product liability.
Quick-Scan – Cessna introduced a new instrument panel lay-out in the 1960s and this buzzword was to indicate that Cessna’s panels were ahead of the competition.

The 411 was Cessna's entry into the eight seat cabin class twin market that had previously been dominated by the Beech Queen Air.
While the 401 and 402 were essentially the same aircraft, the 401 was optimised for corporate transport and was fitted with fewer seats than the 402, which was configured for commuter and freighter work.
The 402 replaced the 401 from mid 1972, and, as the 402B, was offered in Businessliner corporate configuration, and Utililiner convertible passenger or freighter aircraft.

  Cessna 310 Information
The Cessna 310 was a common charter aircraft for the many air taxi firms that sprang up in the general aviation boom that followed WWII.
The advantages to the Cessna 310 over its contemporaries, such as the Piper Aztec, were its speed, operating costs and after market modifications such as the Robertson STOL kits which made it popular world wide for its bush flying characteristics.
As of 2006, Cessna 310's were still in operation in basic air taxi service world wide and may even continue to operate for many years to come so long as insurance, regulatory and market conditions allow.

AOPA Online: Regulatory Brief -- FAA proposed twin Cessna wing spar ADs
On May 15, 2003, the FAA proposed two airworthiness directives mandating inspection of twin Cessna wing spar caps for fatigue cracks and installation of a Cessna manufactured spar strap modification kit.
The data made a strong case for potential structural problems with the twin Cessnas' wing spars and went far in justifying the agency's decision to move forward with development of the directives.
The data supports that there is a cracking issue in the 402 and 402A models; for the rest of the fleet, we're still looking at statistical engineering predictions, rather than actual field experience.

On 26 August 1965 Cessna flew the prototype of a generally similar aircraft which served for two new aircraft, the Model 401 and Model 402, and when FAA certification of the Model 401 prototype was awarded on 20 September 1966 it covered also the Model 402.
The Model 401 accommodated a crew of two and four to six passengers, but the Model 402 had a cabin layout which permitted a quick change from nine-seat commuter use to an all-cargo configuration.
A downturn in sales led to production ceasing in 1986 by which time a total of 1,540 Cessna 402 variants had been built, including 12 delivered to the Royal Malaysian Air Force in 1975.
