Cetina is a river in central Dalmatia, Croatia.
The Cetina Valley and the narrow passage at Klis have always functioned as a principal trade route between the Dalmatian coast and the central Balkans.
The area is intimately associated with the heartland of the Delmatae and the area's strategic importance is emphasised by the citing of the legionary fortress at Tilurium (Gardun), which guards the entrance to the valley from the south and the approach to the provincial capital at Salona.

The Venetian period in the history of the Cetina district was a time of stagnation for the whole region.
Sinj and Cetina district has natural resources which have not yet been fully utilized: mineral ores, stone and coal, and particularly arable land which, given the abundance of water, offers further opportunities for cropfarming and livestock raising.

Class: The Cetina is classified as a grade 2-3 river, but aside from a few spots that require a bit of concentration and could be grade 3 rapids, it would be generous to call the rest of the trip a grade 2.
My goal in writing this summary of our experience on the Cetina is two-fold: to give readers of KayakGuide.com a description of the location of the Cetina and the rafting company that can take you down the river, and to give a good idea of the quality of this rafting route.
The Cetina River originates in Bosnia and winds westward until it reaches the Adriatic Sea at the town of Omis.

 EASST Review
Knorr Cetina's recent studies aim to investigate what the old ones missed (as I have argued earlier, the machinery in HEP is closely related to the interpretation aspects).
Knorr Cetina describes experimental HEP as mostly concerned with investigations of itself by studying the apparatus (limitations and malfunctions), and the various 'anti-forces' which complicate the extraction of sensible physics from the data samples (anti-forces include noise, smearing of the signals, and data from physical processes other than the ones the experiment aims to analyze).
According to Knorr Cetina, the physicists invoke the different theories as a source of error, and she indicates that other sciences, including science studies, might benefit from using this approach instead of splitting the field and scientists into different groupings (Knorr Cetina 1994a p.11).
