Chad has also toured with James Taylor, John Patitucci, Joe Sample, Banned From Utopia and The World Drummers Ensemble (Bill Bruford, Luis Conte, Dou Dou Ndiaye Rose and Chad Wackerman) and most recently toured the USA with another ex Zappa drummer - Terry Bozzio.
Chad's drumming combines the power and conviction of rock with the sensitivity and finesse of jazz.
Chad is also the author of the book, 'Double Hi Hat Exercises For The Contemporary Drummer' published by Drum Workshop.

i have been a fan of the great chad wackerman ever since i heard his playing on the allan holdsworth LP "SAND", from there i purchased his past two solo albums, and his third SCREAM delivers...
I have to be so near to this mike for it to broadcast over my computer's speakers that my breathing is picked up as well as my voice....

Early in the 1980s, Carl was also a sideman in many groups, including the Victor Feldman Generation Band and keyboardist Dan Siegel's group.
In the mid-90s Carl continued to work consistently in the LA studios, playing on such interesting records as Chad Wackerman's 'The View' with Allan Holdsworth and Jimmy Johnson, and Steve Bailey's' Evolution' with Greg Bissonette, T. Lavitz and Yes vocalist Jon Anderson.
Augmented with Chad Wackerman on drums, the group embarked on another European tour in the Spring of that year, playing to sell out crowds in Germany, Holland, Belgium and Denmark.
