Unfortunately there was no record company which wanted to distribute the release in Poland as well as abroad.
That's why the band was distributing it by themselves on CD-R. By now "Chainsaw" has been sold in over 1000 copies what made it become one of the most popular demos in Polish heavy metal underground.

Team Dresch are a queercore band who performed and recorded in the 1990s and made a significant impression on that movement, as well as on the independent music scene.
On their second recording drummer Melissa York, previously of the hardcore punk bands Vitapup and Born Against, replaced Marci Martinez.
The band stopped playing in 1998, with Dresch increasingly involved in running her record label which was releasing many recordings by newer Queercore bands, including The Need, Longstocking, Sleater-Kinney and many more.

Chainsaws and meat hooks are the tools of these white trash psycho-killers' trade -- they decorate their home with human bones, skin and other gruesome relics, supplementing the body count with corpses from the local graveyard when fresh victims are scarce.

The Chainsaws were voted RAM magazine's best unsigned group just four months into their life, went on to join Phantom records' diverse roster and produce an Australian indie chart-topper in "T.S. (Was It Really You?)" and a string of power-laden records.
The vibe from these recordings is pure, and when you look around the world at how many bootlegs were made form this stuff - "Bloodstains Across Australia", "Murder Punk" and "Where Birdmen Flew" - it just shows there is something very special about that time and that music.

ZCM's plans to release a vinyl version of 1985's Unholy Death have been put on hold in favor of CD release first.
This (hopefully) 2004 CD version will be a CD-Xtra that includes one video from the Unholy Death recording session and one of a live performance in Seattle from 1985.
The Cd, also, includes 'enhanced' versions of 'Evil Dead' and 'Warrior' which include sounds from their movies of inspiration and an unreleased one-off track by Steve, Kurt and various friends which was made specifically for a zine interview tape.

 The Butchies Biography
The Butchies’ fourth record is like alpenglow (a reddish glow seen near sunset or sunrise of the summits of mountains) absorbing into your pores – it simply commands a high-energy, emotionally-stuffed response.
The trio ritualistically stripped down to the buff and finished recording in 10 days – it wouldn’t have even taken that long, but Melissa was appointed Thermostat Butchie, and therefore had to stop drumming in 20-minute intervals to stave off the cold.
Recorded and produced by Greg Griffith (who did our 1st and 3rd records) this record moves far beyond anything we’ve done and it’s just full of damn good rock songs.

The new recording will have a Louisiana feel and be titled "Bourbon St. Breakdown, a sequel of sorts to the debut.
Rhythm tracks were recorded first, with regular Blues Warrior Gene Placsak on drums, laying the groundwork for an extremely layered recording, mixed and mastered once again at Pure Excitement Production Studios (PEPS), with Arlo Alexis at the controls.
Press Preview and advance radio Promotional copies will be out in the first week of January, with preview parties scheduled throughout the month, but the official release date is scheduled to coincide with Mardi Gras celebrations beginning January 28th.

The long-time critical darlings emerged from a series of other bands with their self-titled debut, Sleater-Kinney on Chainsaw Records in 1995.
In 1998, the band recorded "Big Big Lights", the first split single (with Cypher In The Snow) in the series of recordings dealing with women's self defense entitled Free To Fight, and released on Candy Ass Records.
On June 27th, 2006, the band announced an indefinite hiatus, stating there were "no plans for future tours or recordings." No explanation for the hiatus was given.

Radio and Rachel form the duo behind the logo that plasters every young dyke's wall as far as my eye can see.
The Need is Dead marks the pair's second release on Chainsaw, and I have to say it's the strangest, most complex release I've heard so far this year.
Something like new wave, punk, and pop combine for thirty minutes on this record, and all the songs seem to blend into one.
