	Chakat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Physically, chakats are described by the author as resembling a large cat with a humanoid torso in place of the cat's head, and with an enlarged cat's skull in place of the human's head, with a human-sized brain.
		Doove created the chakat characters as hermaphrodites, having a complete set of both male and female organs at once, one of their many survival mechanisms.
		Chakats have been depicted in stories taking offense to being referred to as "it" as if they were genderless or asexual.

	An Introduction To Chakats
		Chakats are very sensual and promiscuous, but this does not mean that there is a constant baby boom as they are highly aware of their state of fertility and they have the intelligence to take advantage of that knowledge.
		Chakats are not interfertile with bipedal species, but can breed successfully with many taurform species such as the feline, vulpine and lupine types, due to the Chakat's genetic structure having been developed from the original research used to produce these 'taurs.

	Chakasa - WikiFur
		A Chakasa is a very chakat-like taur creature; their most evident external difference is the presence of a pair of insect-like antennae on the head.
		There are thousands of small differences between chakats and chakasas, but they share lot of things, including the general body shape, the hermaphrodite nature, and large parts of their nature and sociology.
		Their body design tries to improve the chakat design or to be more scientifically-based, but in truth they are often just a little different from chakats.
