Chaos Legion Sony Play Station 2 Video Game Review by AceGamez
The challenge of the game is actually very satisfying and although it can be very frustrating at times and got me quite angry when I was getting nowhere, it was this element of challenge and the ability to re-attempt the stage with different legions and a different approach, that really kept me hooked.
Chaos Legion is a solid effort and a good game, but the shallow and repetitive nature of the gameplay means that for some it will be quite short-lived.
Chaos Legion is a very addictive, if shallow, game and although it does grab you despite its repetitiveness, it sadly has more in common with the very disappointing Devil May Cry 2 than the classic Devil May Cry.

 Parent Video Game Review -
In order for a game to be classified in the party genre, one could safely assume that it would be playable by a group of people; that it would be entertaining; it would present a reasonable challenge; and that results (winning or losing) could be achieved without a lengthy time commitment.
The game also features a mode that allows two players to join forces while issuing a challenge to another team.
Although it would be considered a stretch trying to justify this as an opportunity to learn teamwork skills, it does bring an entirely new dimension to the game.

A very addictive fantasy-based game that's actually a decent challenge if you're a first-time player.
The game is a challenge, but in a tedious kind of way.
It's just as addictive as the first game, although it can be all but impossible to play on an emulator because of some of the intricate movements needed when you solve some of the puzzles.

 Review: Isabelle
The local newspapers look on video and computer games as a passing fad, a tool of the devil, and attempts to convince them that their readers would like weekly game reviews have, until recently, been met with indifference.
It is here that the game shines, for George is bandaged and blind, and part of the challenge is in guiding him and using his perspective to alter Raymond's reality.
As I attempted to play Isabelle the first time, I felt like the city of Pittsburgh--stiff and rigid in my beliefs of what constituted an adventure game (similar to some of the smaller, close-minded adventure sites that trumpet their shortsightedness by announcing that they will not recognize a game as adventure unless it is point-and-click).

Then one afternoon her son was playing video games with a friend and invited him to play “Geist.” At first he was dubious, Anderson said.

The game is very realistic, and makes the player very aware of what is known in educational development circles as “food insecurity.” Food insecurity relates to the amount of food available to individuals in a community, and it measures it not only in calories, but also in necessary nutrients.

Chaos League PC Video Game Review by AceGamez
That's not to say that the AI present in the game is simple minded, in fact the AI proves to quite a challenge as an opponent and your own team are more than capable of thinking for themselves.
The Chaos League game itself is a familiar pitch type affair, with one team on each side and a goal line to protect against opponents trying to score a touchdown.
They are the most expensive and possibly the slowest players in the game but their sheer size and strength makes them a formidable part of the team, capable of some devastating attacks.

Though the challenge of putting 11-player teams into the game sent EA back to the drawing board for another two years, it was precisely what would serve to set all Madden games apart from the rest.
Using the Nintendo 64 platform, EA SPORTS designers were able to introduce polygons into the game which brought a more lifelike, 3-D look to the players on the field and gave it a true taste of reality, such as players going from light to dark depending on the weather and time of games.

Urban Freestyle Soccer Nintendo Gamecube Video Game Review by AceGamez
And therein lies one of this game's biggest problems; some teams are turnoffably difficult to beat, leaving you a hairless, fingernailess wreck by the end of half an hour's play.
Other modes include versus, home turf, quick match, challenge and freestyle, which sadly are all much of a muchness and don't add a great deal to the longevity, but on the plus side the near impossibility of some of the matches will have you coming back again and again in search of that elusive win.
The in-game snippets of speech, despite suffering yet again from heavy repetition, fit in well and don't irritate as much as they might.
