		April 27, 2005 — The European Tour officially announced an increase in the number of cards given to the Challenge Tour (ECT) at the end of the current season.
		To facilitate this alteration, the number of Tour Cards available from the Final Qualifying Stage will be reduced from 35 and ties to 30 and ties from a field of 156, reduced from 168 in previous years.
