		Chalvey was a village but is now a suburb in the unitary authority of Slough in Berkshire, England.
		the "Chalvey Stab Monkey" involving an organ grinder and a stabbed monkey; the first person to get blind drunk on the anniversary of the monkey's funeral is declared "Mayor of Chalvey".

		A number of the members of Berkshire Live www.berkshirelive.co.uk, the live music discussion forum for Berkshire, have set about organising a twelve hour event to support the Tsunami Disaster Appeal.
		The date and venue have been set: Saturday March 5 2005 @ Chalvey Working Men's and Social club in High Street, Chalvey, Slough.
		A strong line-up of Berkshire bands have volunteered their services for the day and evening.

		Originally the route would be via footpaths 31 and 63 however the Tuns Lane is too busy to cross in order to use that route.
		Junction is very wide and difficult for cyclists to cross particulary uphill from Chalvey Rd East to Albert St. cost œ100.
