Jimmy Chamberlin Complex - Life Begins Again - CD Review @ Rikks Revues
Teamed up with the fertile songwriter and musician Billy Mohler (Macy Gray, Fred Durst) the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex have gone past the efforts of the Smashing Pumpkins in some areas, and I really believe far ahead of the music of his second band ZWAN.
This is not only a labor of love for Chamberlin, but it is also one of those rare CDs that will keep you and your friends, if true music fans, talking for some time.
See, what we have here with the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex is not your average rock music spin-off band.

But Jimmy Chamberlin, who played drums alongside Corgan and Co., went for it anyway.
The sound isn't entirely cohesive, and many of the vocals are provided by guests (including Corgan), not members of the backing band, so it's not clear what the live show will be like.
