  Education board chancellor to step down - The Boston Globe
The chancellor of the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, Judith I. Gill, will announce at today's board meeting that she intends to step down later this year after six years in the post, a board spokeswoman said.
In her statement, Gill said her six years in the position made her the state's longest serving higher education chancellor.
She spent about five years as director of research and policy analysis for the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, and taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver.

Chancellor Paul G. Risser announced Thursday that he will be resigning from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, effective July 28.
Under Risser, Oklahoma higher education has experienced a period of record student enrollment, improved graduation rates and unprecedented success with the Oklahoma Legislature, including a $475 million capital bond project and higher education’s first $1 billion state appropriation.
Risser, 67, became chancellor of the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education in January 2003 after serving terms as president of Oregon State University and Miami University in Ohio.
