	540 MW power project launched in Chandrapur district
		Nagpur, May 12, 2007 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- KSK Energy Ventures (P) Ltd is setting up a 540 MW power project at Warora in Maharashtra at a cost of Rs 2,400 crore through a special purpose vehicle, Wardha Power Company Pvt Ltd (WPCPL).
		The project in Chandrapur district was today launched by Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, while Union Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde laid the foundation stone.
		On the occasion, Deshmukh asked KSK Chairman T L Shankar to consider setting up another 540 MW project in the state, which is currently facing shortage of over 6,000 MW.
